Watching this superb early Judi Dench drama certainly put me in mind of AFAW; a very similar dynamic at work, the same realistic approach to family relations, particularly with Margery Mason doing an early Celia (so rare to see an actor work with complete inner conviction).
With this, the Forsyte Saga, AFAW, Onedin Line, Sam, and Colditz, truly a Golden Age of British Television!
