That’s great to hear, Tim. I can assure you that Colin Douglas was extremely popular here and I think he was here several times. He watched the last episode of FAW in Norway together with a Norwegian family.  It was published a book about him and the series “Mitt liv og min rolle” (My life and my part), it’s a biography really with lots of pictures (I guess you have it?). I browsed through it again and there are some very cool pictures of the Douglas family  [Smilefjes] . There are also several pictures of the other cast and John Finch and his family.

I can only add to John's reply, that I don't recall my dad ever being on any chat show in the UK ,with reference to a FAW,( or anything else  for that matter -unfortunately ) but then, I did not know that he was on any Scandinavian chat shows either , so this was fabulous to see -thank you so much Knut  (I have forwarded the link to my brothers) I think he did go to Norway several times, as he made friends with people there on the first visit (during which they were mobbed and treated like superstars !)
