Hi, Scott.
I wrote all of the episode summaries, and you are correct in presuming
that they are based exclusively on the British DVD box set. That choice
continues to make sense because the British DVD version is the format most
commonly available to viewers of the site.
Still, I find the discussion about Episode 3 to be very interesting
indeed. Thanks to everyone for your input!
Like many others on this forum, I would enjoy seeing a restoration of the
missing footage of Harry and Celia that was edited out before the Acorn
release. Moreover, I would welcome a release (network or otherwise) of the
most complete versions of all episodes that remain available from whatever
source.
