The Wiki article about the British DVDs states that several episodes were edited for length, specifically citing Episode 3; however, because the AFAW web site states that the characters did not appear, even though credited, I’m assuming that information is correct, although in the Age of Trump, I’ve given up believing, and not only for Lent. Mr. Finch???

Apparently, for example, due to the extramarital behavior that occurs in The Onedin Line, early versions edited out such references, and only within the past several years have unedited episodes become available. Any knowledge about the AFAW set? Especially as these disks came from the UK, I’m doubt priggish American standards were involved. And the disks aren’t that crammed with material that an extra minute or two would be prohibitive timewise.
