Ver-r-r-r-y interesting....I just checked the Acorn British DVD and did not see him, although he does indeed have a credit at the end. The AFAW Episode Guide indicates the same (does not appear but is credited). The précis states that Harry tells Edwin that he had to take wife Celia home because she had a dizzy spell. So if your screen capture in fact comes from Episode 3, something is definitely amiss. Perhaps Troughton’s contract demanded that he be listed even if his character is mentioned, not shown? Could Jon Finch clear this up???

Hi there,
I've always been interested in this series though I would have been tucked up in bed at the time of its original transmission. I remember seeing some episodes on Channel 4 in the late '80s.
I was alerted to Talking Pictures TV showing this which I'm very much enjoying.
On another forum there's mention of Patrick Troughton and Margery Mason being credited but not appearing in Episode 3 due to the Acorn DVD release editing their brief appearance out for some reason. They most certainly appeared in a film sequence following the wedding of John and Margaret as seen on the Talking Pictures TV broadcast. See photo taken off screen.
Patrick Troughton and Colin Douglas appeared together in the, "Dr Who" story, "The Enemy of the World".
