I think Sefton loved his son and sisters, but outside that he was hard especially to Edwin. More so at the begining it showed, anything he did like give Edwin a pension and then the house he made sure he was getting more out of it.Edwin Ashton was a relly nice man he just wanted to sort his family out and help them best he could.he certainley got very frustrated at times. It was very sad the way Jean treated him she was a very cold woman.
