Subject: [Afamilyatwar-list] Anachronism???

In Episode 12, Series One, Owen lights two cigarettes and gives one to Freda, claiming he got it from the movies (“dead suave!”).

This Episode is set in November 1940. Now Voyager, the film that is still remembered BECAUSE Hans Conreid did the same for Bette Davis, didn’t come out until 1942.

Is there another such movie scene that I’m missing, or....?
