Woof!So far, as I said, I’ve discovered only 2 minutes’ difference in the 11 episodes screened. I tend not to rely on published figures (marketing departments?) but on my own evidence.

And many thanks to Richard for pointing out the reason for the “density difference” between the two sets (2 episodes per disc versus 4), My Acorn set carries a copyright date of 2010, the Netherlands set 2015.

In view of the total durations of the Dutch and UK sets (2860 min. and 2563 min.), that amounts to a substantial difference of nearly 5 hours between the two! (4 hr 57 min) When divided by 52 episodes, the average difference PER EPISODE works out to 5 min. 43 sec. That is quite a significant disparity, even allowing for the minimal editing decisions for bumper music, closing credits, etc. Can those posted totals really be accurate?
